Spills and messes are an inevitable part of raising kids.  Fill, spill, rinse repeat.  But what if there was a way to make life a bit easier for every parent out there?  Traditionally, cups are designed with a base that is narrower than the top.  This allows for nesting and stacking, for efficient shipping and storage.  What if you set aside this feature and focus on the cost of spilled juices and shampooed rugs?  We set out to develop a cup with a stable design.  It all started by sticking a disc of cardboard to the bottom of a cup.
